    Badger or Mark 4 rings?

I was cleaning my safe and find an extra set of Badger Ordnance 4 screw 30mm rings. On my Remington 700 PSS right now is a set of Leupold Mark 4 ring, they are the same height, medium high. The Badger rings is heavier, 4.3oz per ring where as the Mark 4 4.0oz per ring. My question is should I switch it out with the Badger rings, or are they about the same quality and I would be just wasting my time?

Thanks for all your help in advance.

Badger, NF, and Seekins are just about as good as you can get. Badger/NF/Seekins machines all their paired rings from the same block of metal, making them very consistent and seldom (if ever) require lapping.

OTOH, if you are shooting just fine with the Leupold rings, why switch?

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

      ^^This

Badger NF and Seekins are all top notch rings. If the Leupolds are working for you then why switch. Just keep running them.

Thanks for the advice, I think I will stick with the Mark 4.
