Lucid HD7 Blurry?

Start off, I do have slight astigmatism and I'm not sure how much it affects looking at red dots and this is my first red dot.

I just got my Lucid HD7 from ARchitects15.com and was wondering if anyone was experiencing the red dot image(s) being blurry? I've tried putting it all the way up to my face and it doesn't seem to focus. When I put on the magnifier it is very clear.

Is this a defective unit or do I need to get a new eye?

OP, might seem simple - but did you make sure the brightness is turned down? Also try it without the auto adjust on (manual setting on relatively low)...

Other than that, I'm sure Jason will take care of it.

Thanks Jason for reaching out on this issue. I did try adjusting the brightness in manual mode and no dice.

It is my astigmatism issue. I've taken the photos and it is clear and I've also put on my very light prescription glasses on (only wear them at night for driving or sitting in the back of a room) and it does come in focus.

I've never experienced my astigmatism affecting much before but I guess it finally caught up to me.

I had the same problem also, After researching on the net, seems
others had the blurry look too. Good luck
