Which gas block folding front site to get?

From searching around in this section it looks like there is the Yankee Hill front site and the Midwest Industries front site. Are there any other folding sights I should look for?

    Midwest: http://www.riflegear.com/p-37-midwes...mctar-ffg.aspx

    Yankee Hill: http://www.riflegear.com/p-225-yanke...lip-sight.aspx

Or at least which one of these 2 would yall recommend?

    Thanks for any help!

neither...those two just sit on top of a gas block with a rail system on it, they aren't actually gas blocks themselves. So if you need a gas block go with one of these YHM (also have rounded hood version):

if you already have a gas block that would accept one of those two, go with the YHM one, but look for the rounded hood one if you can....that's the style i prefer

Most civilization is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.

I'm sorry I don't quite get what you are saying. I have the Stag 3H upper if that helps. There is a small rail to mount them but it is lower than the rail where the rear site sits.

Heh. I have the same upper and a shop sold me the wrong kind of sight.

I ended up getting a Troy HK style front sight (for a low profile gas block rail) to pair up with a A2 style carry handle.

I looked at that sight but didn't see one for a low profile gas block rail. Do you have a link?

Amusingly enough, I have the non-Tritium HK sight... and bought it from an LGS at Tritium price. Yeah, they weren't kidding that all their Troy stuff is at MSRP...
