    Vortex Strikefire?

Anyone know where I could get a good price for a Vortex Strikefire? I bought one a while back for $130, but now it's 168 from the place I bought it.

I think Vortex bumped up the price a little on the Strikefire. We have them for $169 as well, but any Calgunner get 5% off at Opticsplanet.com , so that takes a little off and gets it to 160 shipped.

As of this post, it appears Palmetto State Armory still has their 20% off optics and free shipping sale going on. Put one in the cart and price will be adjusted when you start checkout. I ordered a red/green dot Strikefire last Thur (6/14/2012) for $135.99 total (regularly $169.99). They aren't the quickest in terms of processing orders and shipping as my order hasn't shipped yet. I ordered a lower parts build kit from them earlier, and it took about a week for them to process/ship, FYI.

^^$135.99/shipped for a the vortex strikefire is pretty darn good. Now you've got me wanting to buy one. Been trying to decide on an affordable red dot for my .22 rimfire rifle. Only draw back is they take so long to just process the order and getting ahold of them is a hit and miss. If primary arms 30mm red dot was in stock I'd considered that too.

True...but a little patience can save you a nice chunk of moola. I've ordered from PSA twice this month, and my friend has as well. In our limited transactions, the average time to process & ship is approximately 5 business days. We both emailed them concerning our orders (hit reply to the order confirm email), and they responded same day with ETA.

I'm more than patient when ordering online as I know they've other customer orders to fill as well. But to show a status of "processing" for 3-4 weeks is a bit disturbing to me, especially if you get no updates. On their site, it does state that it will take approximately 5 business day to process an order, That's not a problem, they could even take 10days. But if it's 15-20 days with out any updates to just get an order processed/confirmed/shipped that's a concern especially if your money was immediately withdrawn from your CC the second you click submitt. You'd be making the payment on the CC before your order even arrives.

Would be better if they don't actually charge the customer right away until the order leaves their facility. If they did it this way, I'd be on their site ordering the vortex strikefire right now!

Not here to bash PSA as they've excellent prices and you won't find those prices any where especially during this economic downfall. Just my .02.

great optic waterproof fog proof shock proof 4moa dot which is decent but not totally 100%paralax free within 50 yards .....anything farther out is parallax free with the strikefire worth the money in my opinion

DOH!! I missed out on that great deal!

But the blow is softened because I just received a Vortex SPARC. Has a smaller 2 MOA dot and it comes with a 2x screw-on like the Strikefire. Me likey.

Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...

                              "strike" discount is still working.
