Anyone use the Bushnell Acog clone?

Specifically this; (i call it a clone, but its more of just a look-a-like)

I was considering it for my S&W 15-22, but wanted to see if anyone had a review or opinion on it first, I couldn't find many credible ones on google

I've never personally used one so I really can't comment on its quality.

If you want it for looks then its the wrong reason to buy any optic... I rather go with a red dot like a primary arms unit. Functional and good quality for the price.

      It's crap.

      Mine broke after 2 months.

Projected Reticule was at an angle. Difficult to zero because windage goes slight northeast and slight southwest.

The metal construction of the scope looks like it has pitting all over it and was hastily finished in some rubber paint.

Then one day it woudlnt turn on even with a new battery.

When they first hit the market, we saw returns due to a canted reticle - Bushnell seems to have addressed this issue.

        Here are some reviews:

I question any company that can't come up with a design themselves so they feel they must steal the well known body design of another scope just to make some money. Most scopes are pretty similar, and for good reason, there really is no need to fancy up a bunch of lenses and elevation/windage adjustments inside of an aluminum tube. However, with that said, Trijicon was pretty different in their approach to the body design for the ACOG, probably had to do with some gov contract or weight savings requirement. That body style works for them and is synominus with them, any others are just trying to cash in on the fan boy status. Its the same with the Elcans (ugly in my mind) but they work, and thats all that matters.

In short I just have something against supporting a company that creates cheap wannabe imitations of a well known and respected product.

It's a great dot its listed as a 3MOA but appears more like a 2, also the low light setting in green is great, you don't get that glare like other red dots. Holds 0 and will give you absolute cowitness with irons. We have them in stock and hard to beat for the money.

I would prefer your in-house optic https://www.primaryarms.com/Primary_...3M_p/pam3m.htm to the Bushnell, the 4 different reticule and lighter weight = a better product.

I bought one when I was new to ARs, its ok, the T reticle is better than the average red dot, but its pretty heavy. Then again, the 15/22 is pretty light any way.

It might be a better deal to go with one of PA's units like the one linked above or better yet, wait for their 3x compact scope to be back in stock.

Yes a little heavy but well made. The dot is very clear and does not appear fuzzy
                        Overall a great dot

I haven't owned a Bushnell until now and their new 1-6.5X power scope is very good for the price. Obviously, they've been taking notes and doing their homework recently since their glass quality is rivaling my previous Swarovski Z6i.
