Loctite for slide mounted red dot?

I lost my install instructions for a slide mounted red dot. It mentioned the Loctite to use but it was like 70(something), like 701, etc. It didn't say anything about colors.

Anyone know the answer?

Blue 242 has worked for me. Also on a Glock front sight that insisted on coming lose.

Blue/medium thread locker is what Holosun recommends using.

Mine would loosen after a session with blue. I changed to red and have had no further issues.

Make sure you torque it down per specs in in/pound.
