I just wrapped up testing the Tactical Elites Laser Bore Sighter, and it honestly surprised me how much time and ammo it saved even compared to a pre-zero done by co-witnessing the red dot to the irons AKA the couch zero.
For around $40–$50, it let me "pre-zero" multiple optics on different handguns and put me within 2 inches of POA at 25 yards on every pistol tested.
Here’s what I covered in the video:
-Works from .177 caliber up to 12 gauge Simple setup with expanding adapters for a snug barrel fit
-Tested on Glock 34 (EPS), Shadow Systems DR920P (Osight X), P365 (EPS Carry), Glock 26 (Osight SE), and Ruger Mark IV (Romeo RS)
-Consistent alignment across all platforms
-Easy to use and saves a ton of ammo for final zeroing, since it's nearly zeroed before you even start the zero process!
✅ Verdict: Absolutely worth it for the money (this kit or other similar kits), easy to use, practical, and accurate enough to potentially save you a good bit of ammo per setup depending on your pre-zero methods.
