Looking for a 6 position retractable carbine b/s- was looking at Tapco, good price, made in USA , complete-any good ? Also Midwest Industries rear sight for m4 ,how is it?

I haven't used Tapco stocks.

If you want a pricey stock, there are lots of options.

For an inexpensive stock, CAA makes some good ones, and TheTic00 on arfcom sells them at good prices. I've got several of their basic 6 position adjustable stocks, and they've been solid. One rattles more than the other, but this is common on M4 style stocks, even from the big name brands. I've also got their storage stock, but haven't mounted it yet. They make some more expensive stocks that some people like, but for that kind of money, I'd go with one of the name brands.
