Just picked up trijicon reflex

I just won a trijicon reflex on eBay. It appears to be a 1x24 model, the seller said he had hardly used it, it appears to be in good condition and hardly used. I found out some older ones don't have the tritium vials and the newer ones do. It's a 12.9 moa triangle one. I'm aware that's large but I only shoot a 100 yards with my AR. Are these hard to sight in?

Someone said at 50 yards I use the triangle and beyond I'd use the tip? Any ideas? It wasn't expensive so it's just for fun.

Yes, if you sight the tip of triangle at 50 yards you will have poa/poi at 50 and 200 yards and be about an inch high at 100 yards. I sight in at 50.

Inside of 50 you have the large triangle for quick acquisition which is nice too.
