Which Green Dot Should I consider for my H&K VPL OR?

I have two or three Holosuns on various guns. I recently picked up the H&K VP9L OR and am wondering if there are any good green dot optics I should be considering besides jut getting another Holosun 507K? I like my Holosuns
but I know this segment is always changing and new players are offering new products and I haven't kept up with knowing whats new and impressive. Want to stay under $300 so not Aimpoint or Trijicon obviously. I won't be shooting competition
so I don't need something overbuilt, just for shooting paper and at steel for fun.

    Any recommendations?

Bought a Holosun SCS VP9, the only green dot that will attach to the VP9 OR slide without an adapter plate. This allows co-witnessing with the stock low height sights. For being $349, it saved me $50 not having to buy an optic plate and it saved me about $120 by not having to swap the regular height stock sites with suppressor height sights so they would co-witness.

Nice optic. I have been running Viridian RFX35s on my Gucci Glocks for a while now. I have been incredibly impressed with them. Viridian is known for their green lasers and sights. It is the only color they use. My ego wants me to upgrade them to Aimpoint P2s. I have one of those on a pistol and really enjoy it. In the case of my Zev slides that would require having the screw posts removed and slide re-tapped. In reality, the far less expensive Viridian RFX35s are doing just as good of a job. Spending more money on a sight is unnecessary. Might still do it someday, at least on a couple of my guns. But there really is no need. The very large view window means it is extremely easy to pick up the dot when pointing in. Night and day easier to use than a standard RMR, which I also own. It's been three or four years, and I have not needed to replace the batteries. They use an auto on/off feature to preserve battery life. Instantly comes on when the sight is moved. Has never failed yet. That said, other than the gun I keep in my nightstand at night I keep the others dialed all the way down just in case. They've held zero, are easy to adjust, and in every practical way are basically an SRO with a green dot and different housing. With the exception of battery replacements, which on the RFX35 model require you to remove the sight to replace it. Making it more like an RMR in that respect. Best part is they cost a fraction of the price of an SRO and are less expensive than the Holosun as well. Recently they updated the housing for this sight to make it a little more modern looking. Viridian recently released some enclosed emitter sights that look promising. The RFX45 has an ACRO footprint and comes with an RMR adapter. I do not know if it will work with slides that have the Zev screw posts. The adapter in the pics I have seen looks pretty tall so it might. But I doubt it. Dauntless Engineering makes an RMR to ACRO adapter specifically for slides with the Zev Screw posts. But I would probably opt to have those slides re-machined instead. They make a sight for every footprint and in every size. Even if the "35" won't fit a certain gun, odds are one of their sights will. Which is also really nice. In some cases, like the Doctor footprint, their sights are even superior to the sights that inspired them.

Here is the version I have...

Here is what the new housing looks like...
