Recommendations needed - Optics for Sig M400 Tread and Ruger PC Carbine

Recently purchased my 1st rifles, a Sig M400 Tread V2 and a Ruger PC Carbine. I'm looking at optics and quickly realizing that a red dot may not be for my due to my astigmatism. I've been told to look at Micro Prism optics such as the PA or Swampfox Raider or Blade.

The Ruger will mainly be for indoor range and a home defense set up. The Sig for outdoor range.

As i'm new to this, I appreciate the sharing of knowledge and recommendations.

    Thank you.

Romeo 5 is cheap, holds zero and is durable. It's what I have on my PC Carbine for H.D. can also add the Juliet 3 magnifier.

I also have a Sig Sauer Romeo 5 on my Ruger PC Carbine - the PCC is heavy enough and if you're not going for distance; a lightweight red dot like the Romeo5 is sufficient.

I've got astigmatism as well, and like you, most red dots are blooms of light as opposed to a single dot. That said, look at etched prism sights, such as the Vortex Spitfire or the Burris RT-3. Since the reticle is etched, it's always there even if the illumination is off, and the astigmatism isn't a factor.
