ADCO REDDOT

I just got an ADCO Mirage {RED DOT) sight. Dot is actually green. The dot sits on the bottom of the field snd I can't adjust it. Also seems to stay the same brightness no matter what the setting. Does any one know who services
these things, or should I just toss it.(I didn't buy it, it came with a rifle)

ADCO has been around for at least 30 years. They used to distribute the Falcon sight system for the M-16/AR-15 platform and the Czech .22 rimfire conversion for AR's.

The ADCO Mirage was replaced by the Alpha 1 model. The dot in your sight can be either red or green. Green works better in low-light conditions. Look at the dial. It has two colors on it.

To center the dot, you need to check your cheekweld on the rifle. On a pistol, it takes time to learn how to center the dot. At closer ranges, you don't have to center it because it is parallax free. Even if the dot is off to the side, it will make a good hit.
