    AK47 Side Rail Mount Riveting

Hello all, a while back I bought a side rail from Kalinka Optics for my Romanian AK47, along with a POSP side mount 4x24 scope. I don't have a riveting machine at all, so me and a few of my coworkers took the receiver and started to mcguyver the rivets into the side using a hammer and a claw shaped tool (it actually worked well, even though quite crude). Problem was that when I was drilling the holes in the receiver, a couple holes were drilled just a little bit too big....the rivets are 6mm and 8mm.

After shooting it once after the mount, the rail loosened up just a bit from the receiver. Are there any recommendations on how I can fix this? I've thought about punching the old rivets out, and buying new rivets...trying to find ones a fraction bigger than 6 and 8mm...and trying the same process over.

    Thanks!

Did you even buy the right rail? I don't think Kalinka even sell the correct rail for a romy trunnion. One rivet needs to go through the rear trunnion to get that on there properly.

Yeah, it's the right rail and everything fits properly, however it has 3 holes on the rail that needed to be drilled on my receiver.
