Best VALUE in a Red Dot

I am not asking, I am testifying! I just bought my first Red Dot I have ever owned. Did my research and came to the conclusion that the Aimpoint Pro is an incredible unit at a very good price. I just bought one for my AR pistol but tried it on my Windham SRC. What an amazingly useful tool.

If you are in the market for a Red Dot, just get an Aimpoint Pro. The build, included mount, reliability and insane battery life just make it sing.

I'm an Eotech guy, but the Aimpoint PRO is a great choice/value. It's nice to see that Aimpoint opened up the sales of the PRO to the public now. When they first came out, it was LEO/Military only unless the dealer decided to ignore it.

Ultradots are great values as well.

How convenient are the batteries? They don't seem to be CR123?

on the ultradot? I'd have to check, there's the thick coin battery, and the thin coin battery of that diameter, I forget which one is CR123. I use both sizes (for car remotes) and one happens to also match the Ultradot.
But very convenient. No removing the sight to get at it, unlike the deltapoint.
