    Another quad rail thread.

New to the AR platform, searched around a bit and didn't really find what I was looking for. I'm looking for a quad rail, gapless top rail, 10-11", not too heavy, free floated and around $100. Is this even possible?

Or if someone knows what Smith & Wesson uses for their m&p15 tactical (new version, I know their old version which cost much more uses a Troy Industries battle rail, but with the current model at a much lower price, I highly doubt this is still the case)

Its pretty hard to find a decent rail for around $100 unless you are shopping for a used one.

One of the more affordable ones is the Midwest Industries 10" Free Float but thats still cost around $150-160 bucks. I have the non quad rail version of that, its not bad, it could be better.

Light and Cheap is going to be hard to find, you can eaisly spend $200-$300+ on a nice quad rail.

The OP specifically said he is looking for a free float rail... the rail you linked is not free float.

There are plenty of hand guard options that can be had for cheap, but free float rails do cost more. I have yet to find something good in the sub $100s. If there is one id like to know about it too.

The Yankee hill machine Diamond rails are pretty nice and relatively cheap. I picked up my "specter length" version (9.7") for about $130 shipped to my door. Feels very solid and very light.
