Anybody know if the Fastfire retains zero after the battery is replaced? It sux that you have to remove the optic to change the battery. Just wondering if it resets it self or not.

The fastfire II will keep its adjustments for the elevation and windage because they are mechanical, the issue you run into is replacing the fastfire and tightening the screws to exactly the same torque you had them before. If not, you might see some variance. This is a huge bonus in the Fastfire III, you no longer need to remove the sight to replace the battery.

If you bought a FastFire II from us, and you've had it less than 30 days, you can exchange, but the Fastfire III has not started shipping yet.
If by "trade", you mean you have a Fastfire II that you bought from us more than 30 days ago, or from someone other than Optics Planet, no.
