    Feedback on Tac Weapon Lights

Shopping for a few lights and wanted to know, for those of you who have experience using them, what your opinions are. It will be mounted on a XD Tactical 5". Interested in overall build, reliability, function, and holster availablility. Price range for all of these is what I looking to spend although any other recommendations are very appreciated.

I have a Streamlight M6 that I am very please with.
I use it for night matches.
I ended up making my own Kydex holster because I could not find any holsters at the local gunshows that I liked enough to buy.

+ on the TRL-1, liked it so much I bought the TRL-2. Great lights for the money.

I sold my Insight M6 and M6X, but kept my Surefire X200B - that little sucker feels like it's bulletproof. I'm going to pick up an SSL-1 to try it out.

I am looking for a tac light as well..my roommate has the X200a and i love it..but too expensive for me at the moment. The thing i like most about it is that the momentary light is pressurized. I have smaller hands and i have to offset my hands in order to hit the on/off switch. And since i would be using momentary more than on/off i wanted to know if the Streamlight had the same option or any other lights for that matter?

I ended up buying the TLR1. Shootforless.com got my business. They want your business and the customer service is excellent.

The TLR-1 has both a on/off/momentary switch which is ambidextrous. The only thing that would be nicer on a TLR-1 would be to have a remote pressure switch so you don't have to reach for the switch.

For the money the TLR-1 is really, really hard to beat.

                  I'm a Surefire fan, so I use the X200, but I wouldn't mind using a SL TLR-1 also. A great weaponlight.

The M3's and M3X's have reliability (switch/bulb) issues, I like the Surefire X200, and yes they are over priced. Take a look at the TLR1, so far they have been holding up pretty well, and the price is much more attractive! Hope this helps!
