Any one using an Acog 1.5x scope?

I looked through one at a gun store and it seemed very fast to acquire the target. Unlike a red dot or holo-screen it had just a hint of magnification that actually aided in target verification and the glass was clear and bright.

Just wondered if there were any user and what you thought of them?

I've tried one a few time now, and I'm sold on them. I've trying to find a used one or someone willing to trade for a comp M4.

    Great little lightweight optic.

Tried one myself, everyone has different likes and dislikes. I personally HATED it. Eye relief was tiny... and with basically no magnification, I'd rather have the speed and ease of red dot.

Now when talking about the 3x or 4x ACOG, that's an entirely different story.

        I'd rather have a 1-4etc optic.

You thinking of a new ACOG for the 5.56, existing ACOG to the LMT, and existing NF scope for a new long-range bolt rifle or something?!?!

Ditto. I found Nirvana with the EOtech and flip away magnifier for shots over 100 yards.

It's the best of both worlds.

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000.
The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.

The 1.5x24 has the most eye relief of any ACOG I'm surprised you don't see them more.

Exactly my thoughts as well. And considering that on these models, IMO trijicon underrated the eye relief. I've found it useful from 1" to 5-6".

Anyone have one they want to trade?
