Just bought a Nikon Monarch 4x16x50 with the BDC retical and what I wanted to try was the "Spot ON" system they have on their websight since I am lazy
..
The Program is very easy to use and lets you punch in any bullet combination you want. They have many factory rounds to choose from as well as the ability to program in your custom load. You can compensate for weather as well as angle to target. And to top it all off you can load your smart phone with a APP and choose it all on the fly while out in the field.. I loved that the APP worked even with no cell service.. Freaking awesome!! You can go into the software and set it to all the different magnifications your scope has to get the correct hold over all the time.. It also gives you the option to get very fine detail as to where to hold over at other than just the normal centers of the BDC circles
So today I took my tikka Scout in 308 out, With my naked eye I bore sighted the scope with the bolt out, Took one shot at 100 and was 3" low Gave it 12 clicks up and was dead nutz Money!! 2 shot zero!!
Maybe a little luck was involved..lol
So after getting zero I shot a series of shots at 2 inch squares of black duct tape to confirm zero was indeed zero, Then I decided to shoot at a target I had at 180yards, Put in all the info in my Droid smart phone and it gave me the hold over at 16x.. I held it right where it said and took one shot, Moved to the next 2 inch square and took another and the same with the third
Went out to the 180 yard target and all the 2" squares were center punched, Damn so far so good
Now I wanted to check again so I put the target out at 225 and put new tape squares on my target.. So now I am about to shoot 2" squares at 225 yards, Get out my phone and check the hold over for 225 and pulled the trigger on a square as well as the next 2.. Walked out and to my surprise I center punched the next 3 squares at 225.. All shots where dead nuts on
I know there is not a ton of difference between 100, 180 and 225 as far as drop(about 4" total I think) but so far it has been right on the money. Very impressed I would feel super confident I could shoot any zombies eye out from 100 to 225 yards now..lol
I Did this one more time at 225 yards as well as going back to 100 and shooting at different magnifications to see if zero always stayed the same and it did just fine..
I can only shoot to about 275 yards here on my property so I will need to go out to the range to do some more testing so more reports to come
My only complaints would be that I wish the scope I have needs more hash marks in the retical for more precise holdovers.. I noticed on some of there scopes they do have more like in the m-223 line of scopes..
Here are some cruddy cell pics of today

100 yards, I am shooting at a sloped target, And my rifle is not sitting level as well for these scope pictures.. Set it back up to take pics real quick before I headed in for the day

225 yards
