    Redfield owners look here.

Was wanting to get a redfield soon, but went into Sportsmans today to look at them and looked at a couple others while I was there.

Since they werent on a gun and what not, theres no telling if was just me or what but I thought the redfields accu range was hard to use, like it was too clustered together between hold overs. Any of you feel that way with yours? Or is it fine once you actually have it on a rifle and outdoors, not just in a store staring at a wall across the room?

For less, I liked the Bushnell with DOA 600 reticle, but it was kinda the same and seemed to lose the picture easy if I barely moved my head left or right....

But I looked at a Vortex Diamondback for $199, was a 3-9x40, with AO (which Im not sure if thats good or if its just a hassle sometimes?) and it was very clear and crisp plus it had a bigger view.

Take a look at Redfield's site:

They break cartridges into two groups - and the reticle is not so bad once you use it.

There are a couple of videos at the bottom of this page:

I hated trying to use my redfield at home, or even at the shooting range, but when I got it out into the woods it was spot on perfect.
