i found this on CL for $350 this guy claims that it's real.

Without spending a lot of time analyzing it, I'd say it's fake due to the reflection in the glass in the upper left hand photo. EOTech also uses machined metal housings not injection molded plastic. The only manufacturers making injection molded plastic housings in this shape are the counterfeiters. Just to be sure I've got a call in to EOTech to confirm.

I'd be wary. All new, including all XPS series eotechs, have the barcode scanner and serial number on the bottom of them. They've been doing this for a few years now. Added to the fact that its a complete oddball and plastic instead of metal and no serial number to prove it as such, seems like a bad idea.

we all could be way wrong and it could be a one of a kind prototype dispaly from EOTech...maybe.............or not

I wouldn't be surprised if it was real... like perhaps built so EOTech could showcase the internals... but being that it's made of plastic, I'd much rather have the real thing...

No to mention... it's HIDEOUS.

Even if it were a real eotech that happened to just be a prototype or some sort of demo/display unit, I'd never buy it. $350 for a plastic housing and no warranty? No thanks.

cool, good to know! so this sight is only good for at most a rimfire weapon? if of course you want the cheap airsoft look.

Well technically L-3 makes the bushnell version of the EOTech which is polymer if i'm not mistaken. That one is marketed to hunters and such.

I think it's called the Bushnell Holosight.

At $350 i'd say absolutely not, but for less... maybe...

Still ugly though.

display models - you don't want to mount these at all - they are not rated for heat or stress.
