    Red Dot built into weapon

Did you watch this program? They stated the sights are built into the rifle. The shooter cannot remove them, the are fixed.

Didn't get that, and you can clearly see that the optics are on a weaver style rail? You can also make out iron sights o. The system as well.

Built into it? At 3:09 you can clearly see that it's mounted to a rail. Not to mention, the bolts to remove it are clearly visible from multiple angles.

Unless you mean the irons, but that wouldn't be unique to this either.

More importantly, do you think this guy does his tactical whispering at the bank or grocery store?

That was old foootage I guess? They, many anyway have scopes that cannot be removed by shooter and are activated by the safety on and off, and they made a point of talking about it. No visable 'normal' rail look.

And it's still probably just bolted on using some proprietary mount.

I hate to break it to you, but the bald tactical whispering guy is not always correct.

No idea but this is a photo of pretty much what they were showing.

Yes, and from that picture, you can see that the optic can probably be removed (since it is a slightly different color than the rest of the firearm).
