    Scope Recommendations plz.

    Good Evening all-

I need some help finding a scope for my Mk12 Mod 0 build. My budget is 800 dollars. The scope Id like would have:

    Max Power- Between 14-20
Turrent Style- With a version of zero stop (would be nice)
    Tube size- 30 mm
    Objective lens dia- 44 max

Right now i have a primary arms 4-16x44 on ARMS-#22 mounts (Medium). I dont think i can mount a 50mm objective..

Pic of the rifle attached. Thanks for your help.

Take a look at the Bushnell Elite 2.5-16x42mm Its close to all your criteria and the Elite line is really a great scope for the money. Bushnell is making some top notch scopes and even have a new 'tactical' model coming out that is supposed to compete with teh higher mark 4's from Leupold and some of the other big boys. Can't argue with Ronnie Barrett endorsing these on his 50's either. This model is right where you need it.

Thanks Trevor, You mentioned they are coming out with a new "tactical" model. Do you have a ETA for the new products and the price?

Just sent you the PM. Pricing will range from $1200-$1400. they have a 3.5-21x and 6-24x. No ETA on it yet that I saw, but I'll look into it a little more.

If it all hit the fan, what's the longest REASONABLE shot you can make, from say, the top floor of your house? Plan your optic accordingly.

Living here in the densely populated urban east, and given the terrain features, 300 yards would probably be MY longest possible shot, so I simply went with a Leupold Mark AR on my Mk.12.

Always keep you maximum line-of-sight realities in mind, when planning for your glass needs!

Id like to reach out and touch someone from 500-700 yards (Paper, Steel). Not thinking about any SHTF scenarios.

This might be a good choice:
