    I run dual optics one two setups....

    One has a Nightforce 2.5-10x32mm and an Aimpoint T1 Offset...

    Other has an ACOG TA31 and an RMR Offset...

    This allows me to stay at 4x or more with the magnified optic and the red dot allows me to have instant acquisition at close range.

    It takes getting used to though because your sight picture is not as good.

    For competition dual optics is cool... i think in a battle, it would only be hindersome.

    BTW my 3rd setup is a 1-4 scope and it works just fine... I'd not put a red dot when I have a true 1-4 scope.

      I run one on my 18.5" SPR. Since I live in rowhouse central, and L-O-N-G range (unobstructed) is about 200 yards around here (terrain features, buildings, etc. limit you GREATLY, unless you're going rooftop!), it made sense to have an offset 'dot sight' (Optima 2000) in my case.

      A few pics.

      It's there for... just in case!

        @HK Dave,

        RMR, version, do you like it?

        I was thinking about the dual triangle version as a primary lightweight optic.
