    Scope advice

I have an M1A scout with a Leupold VX-1 2x7 33mm scope. I can sight through it fine but I am looking to upgrade the scope to shoot 400 yards. My main goal to get as accurate as I can with this rifle at that range. I love the M1A and the history of it. I don't hunt now but I would like to get into it at some point. Which Leupold would you recommend based on my goals?

Zeiss Rapid Z 600. I've been told by more'n a few lately in my circles to avoid the Leupolds right now, something about their glass quality or something. I like my Zeiss just fine.

I use a MK AR 3-9x40mm with regular mildot reticle. I like it, and it works fine out to about 300. Optical clarity and image size isn't nearly as nice as my Nightforce, but it's a lot better than some of the bargain basement scopes.
