EOTech 516 vs 556 or XPS ??

Aside from a slight size difference, is there any difference between these two EOTech models?

The 556 doesn't have any type of BDC, so not sure if I should still go for the 556 due to its added cost.

I'm sticking with the CR123 versions since I don't like the length of the AA model.

I would consider the XPS and EXP serious but still like the traditional look of the 516 and 556.

Would you recommend for an AR-15 Carbine?

The 556 is only useful if you have night vision.

I also prefer the traditional look of the 516. There's nothing wrong with the 516, i use mine all the time.

The primary difference between the 516 and the XPS is size and that the XPS uses only 1 battery mounted in a different direction.
