Burris Fastfire on a Glock

I tried finding info on this but didn't see a thread.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Burris Fastfire for my Glock.
Now, since this comes with a mount, is there any else that I need?
I'm assuming that I won't need anything other than a sight pusher to remove the rear sights.

Any help on this would be great, I've been pulling my hair out trying to research this.

You will need this 410326 Mount - Glock, unless you have a rail on yop of your slide. Lone Wolf Distributors carries the mount not sure of anyone else.

Just saw there is a new Burris Fastfire 3 on Midway's website. You might want to hold off to see if the improvements are worth waiting for or alternatively to see if you can get a deal on the 2 when they get cleared out.

I am really hoping that the improvements in the III still allow the use of the existing mounting systems for the II. It would encourage existing owners of the FastFire II to upgrade to the III.

And I hope the dust cover fits a little tighter.

Sorry for the poor quality pics. Is a gen 1 fast fire....about 6000 rounds through it, hasn't gone off zero yet. I do abuse it. I use it to rack the gun, etc. I like it a lot more than my C-more, but the dust cover is its achilles heel...its loose as a stool after eating 200 cherries. That said, my C more doesn't even have a dust cover.

I have tried many red dots and I like the burris the most as its a quickest to get on line and working at the right intensity.
