Scope for my SKS

Hey

Looking to scope my SKS. I've decided on a choate mount. Looking for suggestions on a compact riflescope, under about 8 inches OAL so i can keep using my clips and not have to worry about casings hitting the optic. Price range is up to around 200 bucks.

I don't know much about optics at all, so any suggestions would be great for me to look into.

A nice 1-4x20mm would work well for you. Length is short so it wont effect your loading Leupold has the VX-II 1-4x20mm, its a little more money at about $270, but your getting a great scope. They also have a VX-I 1-4, is a "shotgun scope" just meaning the parallax is at 75 yards and not 150 yards.

But the 1-4 is perfect for close up shooting and when you want to stretch it about a bit.
