Burris Fastfire with MI mini Dot mount

I just purchased a Burris fastfire and the MI mini dot mount for my Saiga. Anybody running this setup on their rifle. Pros/cons any input would help.

Don't own the MI mount, but I do own the FastFire II. We pulled the FastFire and the Leupold Deltapoint from stock, and I didn't see twice the performance of the Leupold at twice the price. The Deltapoint is a good optic, but the FastFire was a great value.

My only complaint (and it is being addressed in the FastFire III, due out in early 2012) is that while both the Deltapoint and the FastFire II are autoadjusting, the Deltapoint is brighter in all lighting. The FastFire III will have three preset brightness levels, in addition to the autoadjust setting. The FastFire III will also allow for battery changes without removing the optic, and subsequent rezeroing.

My FastFire II has moved from a Rock River AR, to a 10/22, to a Ruger Charger, to a Marlin 336 and back again. I haven't tried it on a handgun yet, but that's another good feature of the FastFire - you can buy mounts for individual firearms, instead of having to by a multiple-firearm mount kit from Leupold, which likely has mounts you will never use.

I like My FastFire II - It's clear, fast and distortion at the edges is minimal. Pleased with the battery life. I wish the dust cover was a little tighter, but now I'm just whining.
