I'm researching good quality bench-top tripods for spotting scopes. It has to be real short, of course, and preferably have some sort of fine adjustments, and stable to hold a spotting scope without tipping over. There are lots of junky ones out there; I have one; I'm fed up with it and need a good one.
An added bonus would be one I could mount binoculars on but the primary mission is a stable platform, sitting on a shooting bench, for a spotting scope.
No, I don't want one that can double for use as full standing height. I want one for sitting on a shooting bench or shooting prone.
Any recommendations? I'm thinking of paying between zero and $100.
