Will a Bushnell Tropy 1x32 MP 3 M.O.A. Red Dot fit on a Mini-14 Weaver rail?

My buddy wants me to get him a red dot scope for his Mini-14 with an ATI Strikeforce stock on it. I purchased a picatinny to weaver rail adapter because I was going to go with a Primary Arms red dot, but he saw the Bushnell Trophy red dot and said he wanted that one. The details for the scope say it mounts to a weaver rail. Will it fit on the weaver rail mount over the chamber? It looks like it might, but I don't want to buy it to find out it will not work.

It will mount, but optical center will be pretty high. That sight raises it to 1.5'', ideally for an AR. Check out the vortex Strikefire. you can go with the low height/hunting ring. That would be an ideal height for you and is still a great sight for a good price.
