Nice review. The ADM mounts are extremely well engineered, and IMHO are currently the best QD mounts available. Been using one of their RECON mounts on my SPR for almost 2 years now, that thing is solid. They are currently the OEM supplier of mounts for the Vortex HD line of scopes, as well as Noveske.

I'd like to hear a little more about the Burris QD mount though, as it's pretty new on the market and not many reviews are available for it. I'm interested in it because I'm looking for something slightly taller than the ADM mount for one of my AR builds that is using a MATECH rear BUIS. The ADM mount is too low to clear the sight with the scope I'm using, but the Burris should clear by about 1/16th of an inch if it's the same height as their non-QD mount.

      Glad you enjoyed the review.

In terms of the Burris mount if you are looking for something taller the Burris mount is only slightly taller not but much. Now AD also sells a AD-RECON in HIGH version which sounds like it is more suited for what you are looking for. The normal height is 1.47" vs the High which is 1.93", while the Burris is 1.59" from the center of the ring in the 30mm version to the top of the rail. Hope that helps
