If I were to use a 20 MOA scope mount on my rifle, will I have to compensate by adding or subtracting 20MOA to my already MOA scope?

It will not affect the scope or your data. 100 yard zero. Input your bullet weight, velocity, BC and other pertinent data and go for it. If your data says 34 MOA to 1000 yards then dial 34 on your scope.
The MOA base buys you more time on your elevation before you max out. It doesn't affect anything else.

If you already zeroed with a flat base, you would have to crank your elevation knob down 20 moa. So, if you already have the scope mounted on a flat base, spin your elevation knob down and make sure you have over 20 moa of down adjustment available. Once rezeroed, it wont effect your data unless the new mount raised or lowered the scope to bore height signifintaly.Comment

^^^ G's correct on the re-zero. I was assuming that you were starting from fresh.
My mistake.
