Which Kinda high end scope to get if even needed?

I currently have a Savage 111 in .30-06 that came as a package with a Bushnell basic 3-9x40. Sure it works well for now but I plan to keep this gun for a long time and if lucky take it to Africa, Canada, and anywhere else i can afford to hunt over time. Going with my buy once, cry once philosophy I am trying to decide what scope I should get if it is even needed. Lots of good deals right now and I am wondering what peoples opinions are.

The three I am looking at are:

Swarovski 3-9x36 Z3 Riflescope $748.95

Zeiss 3-9x40 Conquest Rifle Scope $399.95

Trijicon 3-9x40 Accu-Point Rifle Scope $564.95 with my NRA instructor discount.

All great quality glass but which is going to still be going strong in 10 years? Swarovski is a dream but is it worth the extra 350?

What do the experts say?

3–12 x 42 Precision Hunter with P3 reticle

Cant go wrong with a Schmidt.

Great thing about the USOs is if you run out of ammo you can beat your quarry to death with the scope, remount it and it will still hold the original zero.

look at kahls 3x9x40 second zeiss conquest 3x9x40 top glass you need to look thrue them before you spend dime

Conquest is reasonable, don't forget to look at the Nikon Monarch as well.
I'm sold on Nightforce and own a few, as well as USO, and Luepy.. the Nikon though half if not third the price held it's own (Nikon Bushmaster is badass as well)

Conquest ftw. I have one on my .30-06 Howa 1500. It is one fantastic scope for the money. Before I bought it I went to bass pro and looked at various scopes from 300-1000. The conquest just seemed the best for the money. I bilieve I got mine from optics planet for 399.00.

For hunting a Leupold 3.5X10X40 non-AO or a sheapard. If you really want to spend(and get quality) a Nightforce NXS.

All my serious hunting firearms have Leupold on them.

The savage is a great gun for the less than $400 i paid for it new. Its a hunting gun, not a precision sniper bench gun. Minute of deer hear not MOA.

I sound snarky but noticed your avatar, and I know you guys love supreme accuracy but I am just going with it as a hunting rifle.

I have many rifles.Some are Savage.Savage makes a reasonable to buy,accurate,will last a lifetime gun.If you are going to drop $400 on a scope,the Zeiss Conquest,Leupold VX3,or Burris Signature.You will have to shop around to get the last 2 for $400.The Nikon Monarch is good also,but ran into a warranty issue with them over a lighted reticle model(I will not buy their product again).I would stay away from anything with a battery in any manufacturer.That Trijicon,I would like to try.The Swarovskis,I have owned(waited 7 months for a repair on one though)(I will not buy their product again).35 years of rifles and scopes have proven to me that Burris and Leupold stand behind everything.By the way a high end scope starts at $1000 to alot of people.

I think Europtic has meopta 1.5-6 scopes on Ebay for 400$. Zeiss Conquest with Rapid Z600 would be a good one if you want a holdover reticule. I have a fixed 4X IOR on one hunting rifle and an old USA Redfield 4X on another.

Kahles are great. For about 6-800 you should be able to find an older zeiss 3-9 or 3-10 diavari used on ebay that would be something that would last and last...
