Brobro, Larue, ADM are the mounts i would suggest.

Back up iron sights, you want something that folds.

Which Larue mount would suffice? I really have no idea what I'm looking for, I just know what I want on my rifle

This is like the gold standard on what many AR platforms use for a mount. Many "buy once, cry once" folks will tell you to get this.

The Burris PEPR mount is one Im really considering for my Predator Pursuit upper. Dont need the quick detach since I plan on using my just for the bench.

^depends on what scope you choose. Since you mentioned the Leupold Mark AR, they use the 1" tube, so 1" ring size.

This dude knows! That Larue is more than half of what you plan to pay for your Mark Ar, but do not go cheap. The mount is awesome. Once you get your new scope dialed in. You can then flip the lever and remove it. Its just as easy to put back on the AR. Here is the important part... It will be on the money every time. The cheap ones suck. They need tools to remove um. They get loose. Its hard to keep the scope zeroed in. Spend the money. Get the good one. Bingo, Bango, Bongo. Good Luck!!!

In my opinion the best QD ar15 mount currently made is...

Trijicon has decided to start using Bobro on their sights.

After the Bobro would be the Larue and ADM.

I have burris perp qd for scope and really like it... I use ADM QD swing mount for variable magnifier with RDS for AR and like it as well, also have an Atlas bipod that uses ADM QD... I use ARMS QD on a different RDS for AK and it too is good.

They all operate a little different - the ARMS is real tight - no matter how many times I take it on and off, it's inherent of the way it's designed - it's just a lever (no latch/button to engage while pulling the lever) - it's solid as a rock.

Both ADM mounts I have are quick and easy to use - they have a little button/latch that you push fwd as you pull the lever - they are well built, but the ADM swing mount is a bit sloppy, it does the job, but not as solid as the ARMS or Burris (or the ADM I have on the Atlas bipod).... bang for buck, the Burris PERP is surprisingly good (and actually might be my favorite).

Bobro looks to be a very good unit, gets great reviews - but is real pricey... GG&G has good options too...
