Hey Guys,
Looking for backup irons for my AR 10 build with a Vortex Viper sight and came across "rear standalone sights"; my questions are:
-do these preclude the need for a front iron sight?
-are they any good?
-any caveats i should be aware of when using in conjunction with a scope & mount?
