I am debating between a few sights for my ar15 and wanted to get some personal opinions or testimonials on any of the following products.

*(All shooting will be done at the range or in the hills 50-300 yards)

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking more for a very low powered optic though. 1-4x is great. My hearts desire is a red dot with a magnifier.

The Weaver and the Burris have both been getting some very good reviews as inexpensive scopes in their respective styles.

Before I'd buy a Bushnell like the one you have listed, I'd get an Ultradot for a little more $, since it's a well proven and solid red dot in that style. It's probably the least tactical of the bunch, as the long, skinny tube in a 1x red dot doesn't make for fast aquisition, and is more suited to target shooting.

At that point, it's more a decision on what style you want. The Weaver, like all magnified optics, has the drawback of limited eye relief compared to a 1x red dot, but lets you reach out a bit further with more accuracy.

The Burris is a fast aquisition optic, but you don't have the zoom capability, and it's going to lose steam out past 100 yards.

I need some magnification to get decent accuracy even out to 100 yards, so I'd go for the Weaver, but lots of people have no problems with good accuracy in a red dot at that distance. 300 yards is pushing it, though. They don't spec the dot sizes, but many inexpensive red dots are 4 MOA, which is going to cover 12 inches at 300 yards.

Both Weaver and Burris have a much better reputation for reliability than Bushnell, as well.

You might want to ask them if the magnifier on the Po Boy will be centered on the reticle of the Burris in their mount. The flip mount is made for a bottom 1/3 co-witnessed Aimpoint on an AR flat-top, so it's pretty tall.

Yea your right. I wont be buying one until December and the quantities on the Po Boy are limited. Assuming they still have them i am going to do my research on the height of the burris rings i purchase and make sure all goes well.
