Primary Arms are very popular red dots that can hold zero on real rifles but cost Airsoft prices. They are not something you would go into battle with, but are a great addition to your sporting, training or plinking rifle.

Lucids are good but they weigh almost a pound. Take a look at smaller lighter red dots, my carbine with rails was almost pushing 9+lbs with a hvy red dot. Decided to go with lighter 5oz or less red dots.

Check out the Vortex Sparc. Its a great little red dot for a nice price. I've used it on AR's as well as a 10/22. Perefct for plinking around but you also get a doubler for a little more help at those smaller targets. Comes with a riser designed for an ARs optical center and a low mount as well. Its a great quality sight especially for the money:

Our Micro Dot with riser would fill hat role very well. Killfash version shown but available without.
