Question about Vortex Strikefire Killflash ARD

    Sup Dudes!

I just recently purchased a Vortex Strikefire since I am on a budget. I knew that the brightness of the Red Dot is not even comparable to that of an AimPoint before purchasing one. Anyway I was just wondering if I were to add the Killflash to my optic would it increase the Red Dot's brightness by any? I don't think I'm down with forking over 40-50 bucks for a piece of plastic, unless the change is noticeable.

    Thanks!

Interesting question. The killflash has two primary purposes...to eliminate forward light signature and to cut down on bright daylight glare. The dot won't be any brighter, but by reducing incoming light it may cetrtainly appear brighter...esp during the day

A fresh battery might increase the brightness some. Try switching it out with a new one.
