    Harris vs Rock Steady bipods

Is Rock Steady gtg? My LGS only has Rock Steady and claims they are of similar quality but that was over the phone. Going down tomorrow to put my paws on it and see for myself.

The Harris bipod looks better made to me- and they are made in the U.S. I ordered mine from Midway and couldn't be happier. The Rock-Steady ones I saw at Turners 'Shooters Ridge' I think was the brand, look like a foreign copy. Don't know how well it would hold up compared to the real deal.

I try to by US stuff whenever possible and practical.

I own both. Harris quality is superior, you will able to feel it by holding and operating them (meaning extending and unfolding the legs). Ive had to reassemble my rock bipod when a nut came off. Now i check it every once in a while because those leg springs are a b***ch to manipulate.

Harris is the only way to go IMHO

The only real question here is whether you want a rigid or swivel type
