Well, I now own two Lucid HD7 red dot optics with 2x screw on magnifiers. I have been really happy with these optics. The first one was a shot in the dark but the quality of the unit and the excellent customer service made the second one an easy choice.
I don't own an Eotech or Aimpoint, but I do know that I purchased both of my Lucids for less than $400 total, they zero quickly, and have held zero through several hundred rounds. The mount is rock solid and the rubberized coating on the unit indicates to me that it will stand up to hard use.
Just my 2 cents on a good piece of kit.
