    bore sight distance.

I'd like to have my optic sighted so it hits 3" high at 100. This puts it close to on target at 200 and 3" low at 300. It will also put it 2" high at 50 and 1" high at 25 -

I only have 31 feet to work with so I aimed thr red boresighter dot 2 and a half inches higher then the cross hairs. That should get me close to above specs right?

I don't know about those numbers cuz I've always visually bore sight my rifles at 100 yards. But I do know there is no way to bore sight at 31' so it'll hit 3" hight at 100. I've never made 1st shot bullseye hits from bore sighting.

If your rifle allows you to look thru the bore I have a good method of bore sighting without tools for you. if you do it right, all it takes is 1 shot and you can zero it however you'd like.

I was lookin for a 50 yard bulls eye which also crosses at 200. At 25 yards should be 1inch high. as I only have 10 yards to work with mathamatically I need to aim 2 and a half nches high to achieve similar resultsis what I am askin. Glaciarowlfs response was what I was lokin at.
