Thats because its UTG, they are cheap, sub standard crap. Sticks with the well known quality manufacturers. The play in it is normal for them, not for others, but overall, its a bad thing.

its the manufacturer, some just hold tighter tolerances in their manufacturing processes and have more stringent quality control.

There is one with the thumb screws, however you run into the problem if you remove it of not being able to reattach it with the same amount of torque on the screws, thus its not as repeatable as the throw lever mounts from the other manufacturers. That and ARMS has a checkered past in regards to quality, but still better than UTG.Comment
