Williams FP gunsight, what do the reference lines mean?
I have one of these on a Marlin 39A. This is the Williams FP-39 model, I believe. My dad bought it 40+ years ago and I have no manual.
Does anyone know exactly what the references lines mean?
There is no "click" when I adjust it. I played around with it once and figured it out--it might have been 1 MOA per line--but I lost my notes. So I thought I would ask here to see if anyone knows. The Williams website has no manual, and the brochure only mentions having the white lines for reference, but with no specification.
