This is probably a really dumb mistake that I hope can be corrected readily ...
I installed my 2.5-10X Nightforce scope on my SCAR recently. Everything seemed fine in my first two range trips after zeroing. On my third trip to the range, my shots were off to the right by 8-10 inches! I was baffled. But I proceeded to make windage adjustment on the scope and had reached the extreme end of the adjustment knob. But, my shots are still 1-2 inches off to the right. How do I correct this situation? I suspect the scope was "knocked" off axis in the left-right direction. If so, do I just remount the scope and see if this correct the problem? Thanks.
