I don't have it but have heard that Trijicon is now using the same glass as Nightforce.

I've read their customer service leaves much to be desired, should you ever need to use it. But with all the Trijicon scopes I've looked through, the glass is amazingly clear.

One thing I wished it had, however, is a more precise reticle. They use the dot or the triangle reticles on the TR21/24's as far as I know, and dont give MOA/MIL/MRAD has marks for ranging/leading/BDC. So they arent really that great for reaching way out there, if that's what you're looking to do.

Again, this is only what i've read and what i've personally seen. I dont have any experience using them. So take this with a grain of salt.

I have the TR24G and think, it's the perfect general purpose optic out there. Rugged (enough), no need for batteries-illumination, covered adjustment turrets, and good price point that won't break the bank.

Some things that aren't so good are that tritium isn't bright enough in low light conditions but if you get the green triangle reticule, it helps. Also, when shooting from a dark area into a brightly-lit one, the reticule will turn black. All the fiber optic/tritium models have this issue, including ACOGs. And as mentioned earlier, the triangle reticule is hard to shoot over 300Y due to the reticule shape and size and the FO lines below it. I would not get the German No. 4 reticule as it the illuminated portion disappears under low-light.

First off the trijicon use Ziess... Call them they let you know. I have a accupoint in 3-9x40 w/green triangle. I love this scope, best deer scope i have every used. Very clear easy to use and life time warranty.

The pinpoints do 'bleed' somewhat at longer ranges, 400 yards plus, but then it is only 1-4. As far as bullet drop, I use this chart representing hold for a 10" plate on the buttstock.

Sweet chart. What's the rifle barrel length?

Wouldnt the reticle cover up your target using this method?

I love my Trijicon ACOG...The only thing that I think is hoakie about it is the "seating the Prism" that had to happen by slapping the top and side of it because of th new out of the box lack of adjustment. I called the tech service guy and he advised me of the need to hit it and my jaw dropped at first. I did it and it worked fine and adjusted perfectly to give me a perfect zero at 100+ yards with a .308 and a 16" barrel. Buy with confidence as the glass is crystal clear but be prepared to slap it lol.
