    Scope mounting dilema- Kind of

So I bought my first accurate bolt gun in .308. Currently it is in an aluminum single shot stock but I worked on the factory stock and it should be shooting really nicely in it. The aluminum stock its in now has a built in picatinny mount on top. The rifle came with Weaver rings that seem flimsy to me. I replaced those with Millett rings.

The rifle came with Kelby rings that seem very well built but they are for dovetail mounts. So should I-

    A. Get a dovetail mount and use the Kelby rings
    B. Picatinny mount with the Millett rings

I will be shooting out to 800, maybe 1000 yards max. Thanks in advance.
Will trade liquor/wine/beer for parts and accesories and ammo! PM me. Dont drink n shoot. Offer void where prohibited. Must be 21 or older, etc. etc.
