Mueller APT for .308 AR build

Hey guys, I have read some good things on the internet about others who have used the Mueller APT on .308 platforms, and was wondering if any Calgunners had any experience with this particular set of optics on a .308. I have a Mueller APV on my 10/22 and I absolutely love it.

I don't want to spend a ton of money on a set of optics right now, but the Mueller APT seems to be a solid piece of glass that would function well within my budget. It offers 1/4" MOA adjustments, and I can get it from gunkings.com for $169.95 shipped with a free sunshade.

The cheapest optic I'd go with would be the 10X bushnell mildot, if you search around you can find them for about that price.

I've decided to just save my money and get a SWFA Super Sniper 3-9x40 FFP mildot. I'm using an old bushnell reddot for now until i get the optics.
