    Millet scope owners

I just picked up a Millet, used off of ebay and when I got it of course found a problem with it. One that was not disclosed by the seller. The seller said no returns accepted and accept the responsibility I took when bidding on it.
What I didn't expect or accept is the chance that it is a counterfeit and not an actual Millet but a Chinese rep.
I would like to know if anyone who has one that they know is the real thing could look on the bottom of the turret and there should be the serial number. But does it say China under the model number? If you would consider taking a photo and emailing it that would be great..
    thanks for any help..
    This is why I ask:

Millett scopes are made in China. Where did you think they were made?

      I just bought a TRS-1 this weekend.

Bottom of the turret is a serial# and some printing that says made in china. Sounds normal to me.

Yup.. mine has the model number, which in this case is 81007, the China, then the s/n in white. The first two look to be laminated on or something for a lack of a better term to use. But yes sounds the same.

I was concerned after reading the link I have in the first post. Not that learned in the area and needed some confirmation as well as some reassurance I suppose. Thanks to all for both.

Just send your scope to Bushnell (they own Millet now) with a check for $10 and they will fix (it if it's fixable). They'll know if it's real or not.
