one piece mount or rings on an AR

Ok so I have searched and maybe just didn't know what to put. Basically I am looking for the pro's and con's of each way. I am looking to mount a 3x9 scope on my AR but am struggling with how.
What are the differences between mounting it on QD rings or a QD burris PEPR?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The PEPR puts where the mount is about 2 inches forward from where the rings would be. Depends on where you really want to sit your scope.

One thing is what is your being used for. Is it just for long range scope shooting or are you still keeping iron sights on it? If you are still keeping irons go with the PEPR. Otherwise rings are fine.

One piece mounts follow the KISS principal, simple and less parts. The QD PEPR is a nice mount and is faster and easier to take off and reinstall then a set of rings, one quick throw of a lever. One piece mouts always feel more solid to me, just personal opinion. Either work well though, just a preference call on yoru part.

I have off set irons on this setup so I'm thinking the pepr might be easier for changability.
If I put the pepr on an upper with a front post sight will the optic clear the post? With an unobstructed view?
